Social Value​

Under the vision of being a ‘value deliverer connecting the world together,’ LX Pantos actively and continuously engages in communication with local communities. By growing together with local communities and fulfilling social responsibilities, we strive to create diversified social values.

LX Pantos’ representative social contribution activity is an activity to create a welfare space dedicated to children where can play and experience not only the basic elementary education courses as Korean, English, and mathematics, and the physical education, but the environmental education (Net-Zero, Fine dust, Environmental health), using VR devices. Starting with the opening of the Yeongdeungpo Comprehensive Welfare Center in 2021, LX Pantos has been expanding by opening the Busan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center and the Jeonbuk Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and plans to continue this annual expansion. LX Pantos is committed to providing children living in economically disadvantaged areas with access to VR devices and content, thereby bridging the digital divide without financial burden. We will continue to expand our presence within the communities where our facilities are located.

To support children residing in childcare facilities, LX Pantos is running the 'Experiential Learning Accompaniment Program,' in which LX Pantos employees participate. Additionally, we are conducting the 'LX Pantos Value Together Subscription Book' support project to help children establish a stable foundation for their lives upon aging out of the system. To prevent social isolation after gaining independence, we also implement emotional support programs. Through these efforts, we have been recognized for our exemplary sustainable social responsibility activities contributing to the community, earning the 'Seoul Mayor's Award for Community Child Contribution Activities' in 2023.

In collaboration with ‘Peace Forest Inc.’, LX Pantos is conducting employee-participation tree planting activities aimed at increasing carbon absorption and enhancing biodiversity through forest restoration. To support residents affected by the large-scale forest fires that occurred on the east coast in 2022, we donated goods worth 150 million won. In 2023, we visited the fire-affected area in Okgye, Gangneung, and planted 1,000 trees. We have also established a five-year plan for forest creation and protection activities, which includes planting nectar-producing trees, restoring damaged trees, and continuously removing and preventing the spread of invasive species to expand biodiversity.

Since 2018, LX Pantos has established and is operating Hanultari Co., Ltd., a standard workplace for the disabled. While striving to develop jobs for the disabled, we are making efforts to secure employment and improve treatment by expanding convenience facilities for the disabled and providing customized welfare benefits, and also operate systems for handling grievances, such as separate counseling and the placement of social workers. Through these efforts, we were recognized as an 'Excellent Workplace for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities' by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2022, and we received the 'Commendation for Contributions to the Promotion of Employment for Persons with Disabilities' in 2023, acknowledging our leading role in the employment of individuals with disabilities.

The disabled employment rate of Hanultari Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of LX Pantos, is 3.38% that exceeds the mandatory employment rate (2.77%), and in particular actively employs people with severe and female disabilities. In addition, by developing/applying various job models for the disabled such as in-house cafe barista, introduction of health keeper for the visually impaired, OA room management service, building disinfection to prevent infectious diseases and confirmed patient management service, etc., we practice ESG management values by fulfilling social responsibilities and promoting diversity.
