LX Pantos’s New Website Opens

an Online Silk Road for Korean Exporters

- Korea’s first all-inclusive logistics platform, encompassing land, sea, and air freight

- Freight charge quotes, cargo tracking, and potential risk forecasts available with a single click

- Featuring region-specific microsites linked to LX Pantos’s 360-hub global network

# One owner of an automotive parts manufacturer was struggling with logistics issues in their exports to Japan. The biggest challenge lay in the complicated process of calling numerous logistics companies and exchanging quotes and documents through emails. During his research on transportation quotes through a portal site, he came across the digital logistics platform of LX Pantos. His headaches with this whole process vanished with a single click on the LX Pantos website, which provided the freight schedule and charges as soon as he entered the desired date, departure/arrival points, container type, and freight information. He went on to finish the shipment reservation in that very same online visit. Additionally, after sending the freight, he was able to track his cargo along with any potential risks along the path on his mobile phone and even share the information with employees, to his much-appreciated reassurance.

In a groundbreaking move, LX Pantos, the leading total logistics company under the leadership of CEO Choi Won-hyuk, officially launched its revamped website on October 24, 2022. The upgraded platform, which is accessible at www.lxpantos.com, is ushering in a new era in logistics, offering unprecedented ease and efficiency for exporting companies.

The focal point of the revamped website is the digital logistics service platform prominently displayed on the main screen. The innovative PantosNow feature represents a pioneering effort in Korea, as it seamlessly integrates logistics services by sea, air, and rail into a single interface. LX Pantos—long renowned for its comprehensive logistics coverage spanning land, sea, and air—is now leveraging this strength to provide users with an all-encompassing total logistics experience.

Visitors to the LX Pantos website can easily check international freight transportation quotes and schedules through PantosNow on the main screen and then effortlessly proceed to make a reservation. Once the freight embarks on its journey, the freight owners can track their cargo in real time on the PantosView page, which also updates the estimated arrival schedule. Furthermore, the PantosView page keeps users posted with advance notice of potential risks that may get in the way of the scheduled transportation process, including typhoons, strikes, and port closures. These functions, also available on mobile devices, are designed for maximum customer convenience.

Another notable change has to do with the global network’s microsites. The renewed website has seven microsites for strategic regions—China, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, CIS, and India/Middle East/Africa. Each microsite lists all relevant local contact information, such as the address and contact details of LX Pantos’s overseas branches in each region. Drawing on the strength of LX Pantos, which has the largest global network among domestic logistics companies through its 360-hub network, these sites can quickly serve visitors with the region-specific information they need.

The renewed website has also enhanced its barrier-free features in compliance with web accessibility guidelines to ensure the convenience of users with disabilities and the elderly. Additionally, web/mobile standardization allows unrestricted access for anyone, regardless of the browser they use on a computer (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) or on a mobile device (Android, iOS). Employing adaptive web technology, the LX Pantos website is available in mobile and desktop versions to fit best on different screens, whether it is a laptop/desktop or mobile phone/tablet.

Opening up about this, one LX Pantos official said, “The renewal focused on making the best use of our industry-leading capabilities in digital technology, myriad transportation methods, and extensive global network. With the new website, we’re poised to provide logistics services and information that customers need, quicker and more conveniently than ever before.”
