LX Pantos successfully launched its first annual V-Day (Volunteer Day) on November 22, 2024, under the slogan “Engaging with Communities, Connecting the World.”
V-Day, an initiative that dedicates November 22 to volunteerism, reflects LX Pantos’s unwavering commitment to fostering shared growth and addressing the needs of local communities. At the coal briquette delivery event in Guryong Village, over 100 employees delivered 20,000 briquettes to support energy-vulnerable households. This effort aimed to ensure warmth and comfort for neighbors in need during the winter months.
Ms. Gwisu Han (75), who has received 200 coal briquettes, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m deeply thankful to the LX Pantos employees for coming all the way here to deliver these briquettes in person. Thanks to their kindness, I can look forward to a warm winter.”
An LX Pantos employee shared their experience, adding, “Despite the cold weather, hearing heartfelt thanks from the elderly residents made this an enriching experience. I am proud to work for a company that values meaningful contributions to the community.”

On the same day, more than 140 LX Pantos employees joined a program at Gwangjang Market in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to support senior citizens living alone, especially those with limited mobility. Volunteers partnered with one of 70 seniors, providing KRW 100,000 in Onnuri gift certificates to help them purchase essential winter items. In the Mt. Inwangsan area near LX Pantos’s headquarters, 30 employees participated in a plogging event—a combination of jogging and picking up litter. Volunteers cleaned hiking and walking trails around key landmarks such as Sajikdan, the Taekkyeon training site, Suseong-dong Valley, Seochon, and Gyeongbokgung Station. The initiative highlights LX Pantos’s commitment to preserving the local environment and promoting sustainable practices.
Earlier, on November 12, LX Pantos also hosted its Life-Sharing Blood Donation Drive at the company’s headquarters in Jongno, Seoul, to address the winter season’s critical blood supply shortage.
Building on the success of its inaugural V-Day event, LX Pantos plans to expand V-Day activities to its overseas branches in the coming years, enabling employees worldwide to participate in similar initiatives and further amplify the company’s global impact.
These efforts have earned LX Pantos recognition as a “Community Contribution Enterprise” from the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Social Welfare Council. The designation highlights the company’s impactful initiatives, including a savings account support program for young adults transitioning to independence, a public virtual reality (VR) learning space sponsorship, and green remodeling efforts for child protection facilities.
CEO Yong-ho Lee reflected on the event, “V-Day represents a cornerstone of LX Pantos’s sustainability management efforts, representing our commitment to fostering genuine acts of kindness and engagement in the community. We will continue to drive structured social contribution activities in the future, promoting shared growth and creating lasting social value.”
