LX Pantos Hosts V-day 2025

- Company-wide volunteer activities held simultaneously across Seoul on Nov. 21

- Community-focused programs supporting energy-vulnerable households, senior care, plogging, and blood donation

- Part of LX Pantoss long-term ESG initiatives to formalize and expand a culture of sharing and volunteerism

LX Pantos (CEO: Lee Yong-ho) carried out its annual “V-day (Volunteer Day) 2025” event on November 21, with four volunteer programs taking place simultaneously across multiple locations in Seoul.

V-day is a long-term ESG program launched by LX Pantos in 2024 as part of its practical ESG commitment to build a structured, recurring culture of community engagement. Held every November, the initiative moves beyond one-off activities and aims to deliver practical, lasting support to local communities through consistent and organized volunteer efforts.

Employees are free to volunteer through one of several V-day programs of their own choosing. For this year’s V-day 2025, volunteers took part in one of four community-engaging activities: coal briquette delivery for energy-vulnerable households, winter-season support for senior citizens living alone, plogging activities around Gwanghwamun Gate and Cheonggyecheon Stream in Seoul, and a blood-donation drive.

More than 70 employees participated in the coal briquette delivery program, donating and hand-delivering 25,000 briquettes to residents of Gaemi Village in Hongje-dong. Another 40 employees joined the senior-care program, accompanying seniors living alone in Jongno-gu to Gwangjang Market to help out with their grocery shopping and also providing Onnuri gift certificates to support their winter needs.

For the plogging activity, 60 employees participated in the environmental cleanup efforts across the Gwanghwamun and Cheonggyecheon areas, contributing to improved urban ecological conditions, while more than 20 employees participated in a blood-donation drive, supporting a broader campaign to help save lives.

Commenting on this year’s activities, Ms. Park Jina of LX Pantos who joined the briquette-delivery activity, said, “Continuing with what we started last year, it was meaningful to once again visit neighbors in need and deliver briquettes in person. I hope the briquettes we delivered help residents stay warm throughout the winter.”

LX Pantos’s longstanding contributions to local communities, such as supporting senior-care facilities and organizing sustained volunteer programs, were recently recognized by the Jongno-gu Office, which awarded LX Pantos its Community Contribution Award last month. In addition, LX Pantos received an A+ rating under the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Community Contribution Recognition Program, which singles out companies with outstanding community-impact initiatives.

As one company official put it: “Thanks to the strong participation of our employees and the company-wide commitment to ESG, volunteerism has become an integral part of LX Pantos’s culture. Going forward, we will continue to expand our community-focused initiatives and fulfill our corporate social responsibilities.”
