Pantos, Opens 'Transport service between Far-east Asia and Europe' using TSR

Pantos decided to establish the Land Bridge which is joint business with Far-east Land Bridge (FELB) that is specializing in railroad transportation and operating the delivery service between Far-east Asia and Europe. Pantos have signed the agreement to establish a joint company with Bae Jae-hoon, the CEO of Pantos Logistics and Oded Harel, the president of FELB attending. According to this agreement, the companies will establish the joint company and open the railroad delivery service between Far-east Asia and Europe and the joint company will have the exclusive supporting right of railroad transportation toward Europe using Trans-Siberian Railroad(TSR).

The service section of this railroad transportation is from the Yingkou in the south of Liaoning, a province of China and Vostochny, the far-east region of Russia to east Europe such as Germany, Austria, Hungary, Rumania, Czech, Slovakia and Poland etc. So far, the amount of using TSR was insignificant as its service was not convenient due to delay by customs issues and lack of containers however the customs which took 7~8 days can be reduced to 3days. Both of the company expected that the quality of service and sales capacity will be enhanced through the joint company and it will promote the use of TSR transportation from Asia to Europe. Actually this railroad route can transport to East Europe in 18~25 days while shipping transportation takes 35~40 days.
