LX Pantos Marks a Decade of Partnership
with Seoul National University Children’s Hospital
- Long-term sponsorship helps ease medical costs for underprivileged pediatric patients and supports specialized treatment environments
- Active CSR initiatives for future generations aligned with LX Group’s vision of connecting to a sustainable future
On February 5, 2026, LX Pantos (Global CEO: Lee Yong-ho) announced that it had held a ceremony the day before to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its partnership with Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. At the event, the company donated KRW 20 million to support medical expenses for underprivileged pediatric patients.
Since initiating its sponsorship in 2016, LX Pantos has continued its support for the hospital for 11 consecutive years, with cumulative donations now totaling KRW 180 million. Over the years, the funds have been used to cover hospitalization and outpatient costs, medical assistive devices, and pharmaceutical expenses for children and adolescents under the age of 18 from vulnerable backgrounds.
Beyond its partnership with Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, LX Pantos has consistently advanced a diverse range of social contribution initiatives for children and youth. These include: providing support for housing subscription savings accounts for children in childcare facilities and for employee-led educational field trip programs; establishing VR learning playgrounds for underprivileged children; and ongoing support for ChildFund Korea. These initiatives reflect LX Group’s management philosophy of connecting to a sustainable future, while also reinforcing the company’s commitment to ESG-driven social responsibility.
As one LX Pantos official put it when describing this initiative, “We hope that our long-standing support can contribute, even in a small way, to the treatment and recovery of pediatric patients. We will continue to expand our social contribution initiatives across a wide range of areas as part of our EGS management commitment.”
