LX Pantos: Now a UN Global Compact Member
- In recognition of its commitment and performance in ESG management
On November 29, 2023, LX Pantos announced its membership in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), a highly noted ESG (environmental, social, governance) initiative and international pact.
Member companies of the UNGC integrate 10 principles in four main areas—human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption—throughout their business operations and publicly report their performance results.
As a matter of course, LX Pantos has aligned its business operations with the fundamental principles of the UNGC, actively pursuing sustainable growth through environmental responsibility, corporate ethics, respect for workers’ rights, and the creation of a safe working environment. Even before joining the UNGC, the company has communicated its achievements in sustainability reports.
Speaking about this, CEO Lee Yong-ho commented, “With our membership in the UNGC, our commitment and practices related to ESG management are advancing to the next level, befitting our name as a global comprehensive logistics company.”
