<p style='text-align: center'><span style='font-size: larger'><b>“Books Show us Other Ways of Life.”<br /> <span style='font-size: medium'>Pantos Logistics Encourages Employees to Read More Books<br /> in an Effort to Overcome The Current Economic Difficulties.<br /> </span>- A campaign to link reading with a higher quality of logistics service</b></span></p> <p><br /> Pantos Logistics (President & CEO: Sung-koo Yeo), the largest logistics business in Korea, is encouraging its employees to read more books in connection with the effort to have them share the Company’s management o-bjectives and look for ways to overcome the worldwide economic difficulties.</p> <p><br /> Effective from April 13, the Company made it obligatory for all employees to read two or three books from a list designated by the Company in each half of the year, and then to take a test based on the contents of the books or submit their impressions of the book. The results are reflected in the performance evaluation of individual employees and departments. The designated list of books covers a wide range of subjects, including leadership, self-enlightenment, human relations and job capability.</p> <p><br /> Commenting on the campaign, President & CEO Sung-koo Yeo of the Company said, “Since its establishment, the Company has fostered an atmosphere in which the reading of books is customary practice. Every two months, team leader-level or higher employees have to attend a breakfast meeting at which the authors of the listed books give lectures. Then, they are made to read one or two books of those authors. The campaign launched this time is intended to enhance the competiveness of our services through the development of employee’s creative thinking.” </p> <p><br /> Personally, he said that <i>Rainbow Leadership – Think and Act like Admiral Yi Sun-sin </i>is a book worth recommending. He said that the story of the country’s famous admiral, who won decisive victories in naval battles against a large number of invading Japanese ships with only 12 ships, thereby saving the country from defeat, contains many indications for its readers, with the author comparing the Admiral’s leadership to the seven colors of the rainbow.</p>
